The Show:

Surfabilly Freakout Radio hit the airwaves on WPGU 107.1 FM in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois in 2006 featuring the finest in modern surf, garage, psychobilly, rockabilly, spaghetti western and all the raucous retro-revival music that YOU love.  As the show's hosts, the Freakout DJ Crew, we also provide your weekly dose of Jackassery, Tom Foolery and Damn Fool Boobery on the radio .  In addition to the weekly radio show, we've been able to organize and promote local live shows and help organize, DJ and MC hot rod, Tiki and mid-century events throughout the mid-west and the east coast. Through the years, we've been fortunate to work with a number of incredible bands...many have lent their talents to this CD.  To commemorate our six years on air, "Throttlebilly Beach Riot!" features a raucous sampling of some of the show's favorite bands and songs...we hope you enjoy it!
